i don't know what ic is, and im not trying to rehatch an old debate, BUT..........

i've basing my statements on conversations i've had with friends. It's wasn't like they were razzing me, they would just make statements that it appeared they didn't even consider that it would insult me, which implied that they really didn't even expect me to not like their school, like we had no rivalry at all, all they care about is dook, maybe us in football a LITTLE bit

My anecdotal evidence is better than yours!!1!11!

Every Carolina fan I know hates us. One of my closest friends went to uncch for undergrad and is there for medical school and she hates State as much as I hate carolina.

I don't think of State/ezu as a rivalry in a traditional sense, even though there's a lot of dislike on both sides.

Outside of uncch, there's no other team I'd rather beat than ezu.

i love wearing my "Showdown in Charlotte" shirt that they printed up for the State/ECU game back in 2004 when we played them at BofA stadium. I think we won 56-14 or something....

a friend of mine at ECU got it for me - it's priceless...

ECU (in football, anyway) is like a pesky little brother. always there for the beatings, waiting on the one time he gets the better of you, then never lets you forget it.

I think ECU tied Wisconsin and Duke for 6th in the nation in primary care. According to US News; not that anyone should pay these rankings much attention.

Anyway, more on topic, I hope we wipe their ass on the football field.

ok so i understand you are disputing the statement that ecu is a bottom feeder, but they are still only mediocre in the worst conference in football. and over half the teams in d1 end up bowl eligible, it isnt exactly bragging rights.


i mean saying ecu finished in the middle of hte pack in c-usa is like saying somebody finished in the middle of the pack in a child molestor beauty pageant.

it is better than being last, but it still isnt something you watn to brag about.

well you didnt do a very good job. finishing middle of the pack in a horrible conference when you used to contend for 2 or 3 in a pretty good conference is trash imo.

e.g. two years ago state made it to a bowl and they play in a great conference. but they were still trash that year.
