ITECS (College of Engineering IT support) has an opening for a student with web development experience (XHTML/CSS, XML, PHP/MySQL). The current position is for 20 hours per week through the end of the summer with the potential for further employment in the next school year. This position is targeted to detail-oriented university students with strong skills in:


* Web based communication through writing

* Personal communication through writing

* Designing site navigation and organization

* HTML/XHTML with CSS layouts

* PHP/MySQL coding, or a solid programming background


Candidates are required to have graduated from Highschool. University students who are around campus for the summer, or are taking a light summer class load are preferred. Students interested in continuing work into the Fall are also preferred. Understanding of web accessibility issues and familiarity with Dreamweaver is a plus. Hours are flexible, but we prefer a student who can consistently work at least 15 hours a week (for the summer) except during exams.
