you should take a picture with them crawling all over you, that would be awesome

45$ is overpriced for a corn.
7/10/2006 3:10:27 PM
for a normal corn snake, yeah.....i mean you can buy from a wholesaler at a show, and not have a clue about what you are really getting...all my snakes will be guaranteed feeding on thier own, and healthy to boot...i put ALOT of time and effort into my animals and the care for them, anyone who knows me will tell you this, you get what you pay for...go to kingsnake.com and check out prices for hatchling oketees..they range from 35-60 bucks....the parents of these are gorgeous, and you can see them on site...not to mention the male is pushing 5 ft long..he's huge..

I was wondering how long it would take for the inevitable price bitching. Take the time, and cost, to grow up a pair of snakes, brumate them, and produce your own eggs if you don't like the price. Private breeders who take the extra care to insure quality animals SHOULD charge more than some broker at the reptile show.

haha thanks adder some ppl just dont understand...most of these lil guys will be sold at the show anyways, at the price i want..if not, then the price negotiations can begin

16 successful hatched, 4 still born, 1 failed egg.....pretty good for my 1st time around with breeding....there will be roughly 12 that i part with....maybe 13 of these..im keeping 2 of the cleanest patterns, 1 is already sold.

^^ I promise you that your breeder pair(s) of okeetees dont compete with blazers (no offense, but they really are pretty and enormous)i seen 'em with my own eyeballs
7/11/2006 7:23:35 AM
the male pushes 5ft...the female is nearly 4....the male weighs in over 800 grams...
7/11/2006 12:18:23 PM
as requested...
7/11/2006 5:30:36 PM
so they don't show their true color at birth?
7/11/2006 8:01:35 PM
yeah, oketees really brighten up as they become older...some others not so much...
7/11/2006 8:29:54 PM
Do you have any black snakes?
7/11/2006 9:04:42 PM
