its the best way to lose weight according to most articles ive read.ideally 30 minutes 5-7 times a week is what you aim for. 60 minutes 5-7 days a week if you want to go all out.i hit 2 miles every afternoon (5 days a week). its not 30 minutes but ill wait till its not 95 with 99% humidity before I push it too much more.[Edited on July 6, 2006 at 5:45 PM. Reason : ^or brand new to the topic]

i love running because it not only keeps me in shape but it's also stress relief. and 2 miles isn't anything to brag about.
7/6/2006 5:57:34 PM
u aint hardcore unless you run 15 miles a day
7/6/2006 5:58:29 PM
i do 18 miles per week but you wouldnt see my brag about that for a second. its barely enough.
7/6/2006 5:59:42 PM
barely enough for what?
7/6/2006 6:27:28 PM
you loose weigh,t gain endurance, build tone, and kill your knees
7/6/2006 6:29:47 PM
i do 2 miles with lifting weights regularly also. trying to cut my body fat percentage down. i'm at 12.8% right now.
7/6/2006 6:30:00 PM
Do you not remember when you make these threads a few weeks ago? We are fully aware that you are a fat ass and can't lose weight. Stop making the same thread.

7/6/2006 6:36:21 PM
well i dont know what kind of results YOU'RE looking for, shoot.
7/6/2006 6:39:07 PM
Yea, what results? You don't need to run that much if you have a good diet.
7/6/2006 6:46:10 PM
~35-40 per week, actually about to go right now
7/6/2006 6:48:13 PM

^ who said that running 3x a week for 50 min is wrong or bad?[Edited on July 6, 2006 at 8:02 PM. Reason : cause you said it in response to my quote]
7/6/2006 8:01:50 PM
you did
7/6/2006 8:02:39 PM
do you know the fucking meaning of 'every thing else' in that sentence?[Edited on July 6, 2006 at 8:03 PM. Reason : *]because if ANYTHING that sentence implies that the running that youre doing is the ONLY thing youre doing correctly [Edited on July 6, 2006 at 8:04 PM. Reason : *]

7/6/2006 8:04:17 PM
i base it on the english language.if youre running that much and getting no results then you must be doing everything else wrong.the retarded implication was from you to infer that for some reason i meant that if you didnt run that much you would get better results
7/6/2006 8:05:50 PM
7/6/2006 8:07:24 PM
its funny how thats really simplebut understanding my comment was completely out of your grasp
7/6/2006 8:13:42 PM
I understood it, you simply dont understand basic concepts of fitness. What seems like a lot to YOUR body, isnt shit to other people. Do you understand now? Or do I have to keep explaining?
7/6/2006 8:15:20 PM
i understand exactly how cardio exercise scalesyou somehow thought i was implying that running the amount you were was not needed, or somehow that my comment had anything to do with your running, when it didnt.keep talking about shit everyone already knows about to try to bury your idiocy. its working.
7/6/2006 8:17:23 PM
it is 75% diet, 25% actual activity.
7/6/2006 8:17:30 PM
7/6/2006 8:19:03 PM
actually, again youre wrong. i said nothing in response to 6 miles a day 3x a week.I responded to

7/6/2006 8:26:14 PM
^ thats finei went along with the theme of the thread. so sorry.still working on an excuse for your retarded fucking inference from my statement? and also your incorrect assumtion that i was talking about 3x 6miles vs 3miles/day?thought not.

Threads like this is where comes in handy. Look that shit up instead of attention whoring "Oh look at me, I run and you don't". Are you going to inform us when your next bowel movement is too?
7/6/2006 10:17:33 PM
Yay...I was right. Slow metabolism.6 miles, 3 times a week is pretty good. I wouldn't usually qualify that as barely enough, but if you have a pretty slow metabolism, then it might just be. I'd like to do 6 miles a session. I just can't pace myself. I try to do it for a mile, then I just get bored and run faster. After 3 miles I'm beat. I'm in good shape though, so I don't need to run more...but I've always wanted to go out and smoke a 10K. Maybe one day.
7/6/2006 10:19:07 PM
iyea resisting the urge to really run is hard, so i always have good music, and sprint the last 2 miles
7/6/2006 10:24:29 PM
^ resisting the urge to NOT run is hard. Running keeps the gut off and wakes me up for work in the morning. I ran three miles during my lunch hour and paid the price. 95 degrees in the hot South Florida sun and humidity in the worst part of the day is NOT a good idea.
