WTF[Edited on July 3, 2006 at 8:42 PM. Reason : .]
7/3/2006 8:42:34 PM
the bulls are gonna be sickfuckinasty
7/3/2006 8:45:43 PM
fuck ben wallace
7/3/2006 8:46:08 PM
they'll be sick on paper, but it'll be interesting to see how Big Ben fits into a system other than the Pistons
7/3/2006 8:46:49 PM
pistons offered 12 mil a yearbulls 13now that is being a greedy bitch
7/3/2006 8:57:02 PM
Shit I think he has a better chance to win with the Bulls next year compared to the Pistons next year. The Bulls are only going to get better. The Pistons have peaked.
7/3/2006 9:29:52 PM
i disagree with both statements
7/3/2006 9:37:01 PM
He's such a little bitch. Okay, so he's not that little. But still a bitch
7/3/2006 9:41:46 PM
Bulls are going to be nasty next year.
7/3/2006 9:43:12 PM
holy hell
7/3/2006 10:05:54 PM
Ben vs. Flip
7/3/2006 10:43:24 PM
i dont see why it makes him a greedy bitch...it's one million more PER season so we're talking about like $5 million here right?Plus the Bulls are up and coming and the Pistons had peaked pretty much...They werent getting any younger and they had no cap room.... Dumars fucked up huge by taking Darko over Wade/Bosh/Carmelo... any one of those guys and they'd be a dynasty instead of a one hit wonder
7/3/2006 10:47:09 PM
4 mil over 4 yearswhen they offered him 12 a yearI would understand if it were more, but this is pathetic, the pistons gave him a shot to be a starter
7/3/2006 10:48:29 PM
he was a starter in orlando too wasnt he?
7/3/2006 10:51:12 PM
my Bulls might be decent for a few years
7/3/2006 10:54:04 PM
that is true, he did start in orlando that yearbut he really didnt do shit until detroito well, we'll be okdetroit is going to have to change their style of basketball
7/3/2006 11:14:16 PM
i think in the end you'll be happy you don't have ben wallace for all those bills... his body will start breaking down before that deal reaches its conclusion....detroit needs a better backup PG option for Chauncey, a bench scorer, and an adequate center (not really that hard to find a defensive minded, limited offensive guy for under $12 mil/season)..
7/3/2006 11:21:57 PM
7/3/2006 11:32:34 PM
i wouldn't wanna live in detroit either...the bulls are a team on the rise
7/3/2006 11:40:57 PM
it says 4 years, 60 mil on ESPNThats 3 mil more a year, 25 percentWallaceDeng NocioniGordonHeinrichWith Duhon Chandler, and Tyrus Thomas off the benchWatch out Miami and Detroit
7/3/2006 11:48:23 PM
Without Wallace, Hamilton's defensive skills are gonna get showed up like crazy.
7/4/2006 12:46:20 AM
^^ the original reports were 4 yrs 13 mil a yr
7/4/2006 1:07:10 AM
fuck that i'd take nc over detroit anyday on general principle
7/4/2006 2:28:46 AM
nc being an entire state and detroit being a city
7/4/2006 2:32:26 AM
pretty much anywhere in nc would beat detroit in my opinionmaybe not the mountains and shit but like raleigh, fuck yeah i'd live in raleigh before detroit[Edited on July 4, 2006 at 2:34 AM. Reason : i'd hate the winters like a mf]
7/4/2006 2:34:37 AM
true it is very colddowntown detroit is being heavily refurbished
7/4/2006 2:35:48 AM
i think that Fuquay is better than Detroit
7/4/2006 2:40:58 AM
aha
7/4/2006 2:45:04 AM
seriouslyi've been to both towns and I think FV might have more culture
7/4/2006 2:46:59 AM
im sure you've never been to dearborn heights
7/4/2006 2:48:26 AM
i've been to Auburn Hills, Grosse Point Park and Highland Parki was unimpressed to say the least
7/4/2006 2:50:03 AM
dearborn heights has all the big houses and is where all the sports players usually live, it is really niceidk if you have been to downtown detroit lately, but they are really building the area up
7/4/2006 2:54:24 AM
nah, not in about 5 years
7/4/2006 2:55:54 AM
detroit is basically the same weather as chicago isn't it? no basketball player that cant complete the object of the game (shoot the ball into the basket) deserves 13 million. this is a steal for the pistons. they dont need him for that much.
7/4/2006 3:11:39 AM
holy shit, a female up @3am talking about basketball
7/4/2006 3:22:52 AM
^^ weather....ummm....yeah. just about the same weather both get lots of lake-effect snow. harsh winters/harsh summers but what does that have to do with basketball? i mean we're not talking about Mike Vick and his inability to play good football in temperatures below 40 degreeshoney, they play b-ball inside
7/4/2006 9:47:37 AM
looks like things arent lookin as good for the bulls as we once thoughthttp://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=2508870&campaign=rss&source=NBAHeadlines
7/4/2006 9:48:33 AM
^ haha. good callwe're losing a 36 year old who:
7/4/2006 9:50:13 AM
screw ben
7/4/2006 8:29:14 PM
^aha i totally broke the news to you last night
7/4/2006 8:36:52 PM
^no you made it worse by repeating what i saw on espn earlier that day
7/4/2006 8:38:16 PM
you had no idea until i told you
7/4/2006 8:39:20 PM
7/4/2006 8:43:59 PM
7/4/2006 9:07:21 PM
I think this is a terrible signing for the Bulls. Ben Wallace is who has peaked, he looked pathetic in the playoffs this year. I think the Bulls will get 1 good year out of Wallace and then regret the day they made the offer the other 3 years.
7/4/2006 9:48:16 PM
everyone says that Ben Wallace was by far the top free agent and then a team gets him and they're stupid?Great signing, Chicago is gonna be goooood for many years to come.
7/4/2006 9:55:01 PM
7/4/2006 9:55:58 PM
dont forget me, im gettin $11 mil per!ahaha im mad as fuck those two examples are mavericks
7/4/2006 10:10:34 PM
7/4/2006 10:14:29 PM
Let's all be honest, here. After Lowe accepted the job at State, Wallace saw the ship in Detroit going down and knew he had to get out.
