I decided a while back I was going to do this and my hair is finally almost all the same length for a good cut. I know you don't have to go to a specific salon for this but their site no longer lists info on salons that specialize in this unfortunately. The only thing I've been able to google is a salon in Chapel Hill but I'd rather stay in Raleigh. Anyone had this done or know a good salon to go to? Thanks!(the official site: http://www.locksoflove.org/)

1. We accept 10" minimum hair length (tip to tip), not wigs, falls, or synthetic hair 2. Please bundle hair in ponytail or braid. 3. Hair needs to be clean, dry, placed in a plastic bag, then padded envelope. 4. We need hair from men and women, young and old, all colors and races. 5. Hair may be colored or permed, but not bleached or chemically damaged (if unsure, ask your stylist). 6. Hair swept off the floor is not usable. 7. Hair cut years ago is usable if it has been stored in a ponytail or braid. 8. Hair that is short, gray, or unsuitable for children will be separated from the ponytails and sold at fair market value to offset the cost of manufacturing. 9. You may pull curly hair straight to measure the minimum 10". 10. The majority of all hair donated comes from children who wish to help other children. 11. Layered hair may be divided into multiple ponytails for donation. 12. Please note: Anyone can cut your hair as long as the above guidelines are followed.I don't understand this thread

There are salons that actually have experience with this program more than just random joe cutting my hair off in a ponytail and having me mail it in... you may have also seen on the site that they get emblems to display in their salons if they're affiliated... I'm trying to find out some in Raleigh

http://thewolfweb.com/message_topic.aspx?topic=418173I would try one of the salons listed in that thread.

I want to help people, but I don't want to put forth any effort or sacrifice anything with regards to my artificial fucking school rivalry. Can you help me out?
7/3/2006 3:41:25 AM
^ who said it had anything to do with school rivalry?
7/3/2006 10:25:00 AM
I know this is off topic, but please fix the captions in your photo gallery "I and Shawn" as well as "Charlotte and I at Toby". The first is clearly the wrong construction and if it were just you in the second picture, would you just say "I at Toby"? Nope, you'd say "Me at Toby". Therefore it should should read "Charlotte and me at Toby".Both instances are incorrect uses of "I" and it makes the grammar ninja in me flip out and want to kill you.Thanks.
7/3/2006 11:50:54 AM
The second one doesn't bother me that much, because it's a fairly common and understandable mistake. The first is terrible.

Actually, they're written to be incorrect... but if it really bothers you THAT much I'm sure I could just go back and change it... just for you though
7/3/2006 12:10:11 PM
They're written to be incorrect? Yeah, okay.
7/3/2006 12:18:44 PM
^ Honestly, who would think that it was correct... really??
7/3/2006 12:22:17 PM
I think I am in love with you
7/3/2006 12:24:27 PM

7/3/2006 12:24:32 PM
^ ok, this is the last response I'm goiing to make to something not at all related to this thread, but you have never even met me. I'm definitely not stupid so I'd appreciate you getting the fuck off your high horse.
7/3/2006 12:28:45 PM
