so i finally saw some of this movie, the last 30 minutes, and it was crazier than any tarantino movie i ever saw. first Red, the maid dude, is like "scarlet look at my hands i can rip you to pieces ....."then rapes her, then he asks for a divorce and leavesthen comes back to find she's pregnant and throws her down a flight of stairs and kills the babyin the next scene he apologises and as hes doing so they watch their daughter fall off a horse and die, then their friend dies in the next scene then they split upwtf, i thought this is a old nice movie, i was wrongbut it justifies my earilier thread about this topichttp://thewolfweb.com/message_topic.aspx?topic=396013

Second largest? That wouldn't impress Rick. The leading banker in Amsterdam is now the pastry chef in our kitchen.
7/2/2006 1:02:13 PM
Besides, Rick never drinks with customers.
7/2/2006 1:03:17 PM
^ & ^^ what in tarnations are you two talking about?
7/2/2006 1:05:35 PM
mmmmmmmmmmm
7/2/2006 1:48:48 PM
My desire to see this movie diminishes each day. The only way ill ever see GWTW is if i ever finish my goal of watching every movie on the IMDB top 250 list.
7/2/2006 2:48:44 PM
although it was crazy it was worth watching
7/2/2006 2:52:04 PM
The movie was boring. Like a Tarantino movie. The book is great.

my grandmother went to see it in the theater back in the day. She got half way through then left at the intermission because she thought it was the end.I liked the movie when I saw it, but I remember very little of the plot, it's not bad if you are suitably bored.

Of all the gin joints, in all the towns, in all the world, she walks into mine.

7/2/2006 10:55:29 PM
frankly, my dear, i don't give a damn
7/3/2006 5:41:50 AM
Huh. We've always owned it and I've never had an urge to watch. My parents never even took it out of the shrink wrap. And I'm from Atlanta.

so is there a gone with the wind 2? cause there should be considering how the ended it in such an awful way.
7/3/2006 1:06:58 PM
sorta...Gone with the Wind was a book originally by Margaret Mitchell...the book ends with all these questions unanswered like the movie. later on Alexandria Ripley writes Scarlett, the sequel to Mitchell's book...this was never made into a major motion picture, but a made for TV movie around the time GWTW was re-released in the late 90soh and it was horrible[Edited on July 3, 2006 at 1:29 PM. Well there are certain sections of New York, Major, that I wouldn't advise you to try to invade.
7/3/2006 3:00:51 PM
I've often speculated why you don't return to America. Did you abscond with the church funds? Run off with a senator's wife? I like to think you killed a man. It's the romantic in me.
7/3/2006 11:16:23 PM
^ , ^^ you guys are hilarious, can you do that about 1000000 more times
7/3/2006 11:56:24 PM
Oh, please, monsieur. It is a little game we play. They put it on the bill, I tear up the bill. It is very convenient.
7/4/2006 12:08:56 AM
you guys are worthless
7/4/2006 12:09:54 AM
You're the one who called him "Red, the maid dude."

7/5/2006 12:14:35 AM
I thought you were being punny with regards to his last name. Shame I overestimated you.And the picture shows up for me- I watched Anastasia a few hours ago and felt I had to share.
7/5/2006 1:17:28 AM
That's Scarlett, aka Vivien Leigh. She has the eyebrows of doom in most of her other pictures.

7/5/2006 10:02:01 AM
I've never seen Casablanca. I lose.
7/5/2006 12:38:30 PM
I'm no good at being noble, but it doesn't take much to see that the problems of three little people don't amount to a hill of beans in this crazy world.
7/5/2006 12:44:26 PM
"I was informed you were the most beautiful woman ever to visit Casablanca. That was gross understatement."casablanca >>> gone with the wind]
7/5/2006 1:15:04 PM
wow, i just realised that ya'll have been posting quotes from the movies, i had no idea.
7/5/2006 1:16:29 PM

7/5/2006 1:18:15 PM
anyone have a link to that thread where the guy was ranting about how good some movie was, and he was really talking about Casablanca?Wasn't that a Gone with the Wind thread?^Why the hell are you posting Star Wars Quotes in this thread?
7/5/2006 1:36:24 PM

7/5/2006 1:42:34 PM

7/5/2006 1:43:42 PM
