See if you can get American Lit. II with Knowles, not sure if it fits what you're looking for, but if it does get in there, he's cool.

Well, I didn't read but a SMALL portion of the material in that class and managed an A- or better on every test. Given he did give us the questions that would be on the test before the test for the most part, haha. This class asks for a lot of reading, but doesn't necessarily require an excessive amount. But on the bright side, I didn't have to write a paper, haha, which was what I was going for.

eng265- American Lit with prioligreat teacher, one of my favorite classes at state. Presented somewhat as a history class to understand the context of the writings. I didn't really do any of the reading and got a B+, and that was before i started to actually study for classes and not just skim over the notes before the exam.

i think i took wall in spring 05. i thought his class was pretty straight-forward. i never read the book.. he told us on the first day of class that we didn't even need the book. he lectured about the reading and pointed out key points which made writing the papers real easy.. but if you really needed to get a summary of the literature, i'd suggest getting cliff notes.. everyone brought their laptops and took notes on it, he sometimes had us access websites about the literature on our laptops.. final was take home essay..it was basically:one hour quiz2 short papers-- example: compare & contrast the heroic code that Beowulf lives by and the heroic code that Sir Gawain lives byfinal exam (take home)

^ok thanks.. I think i may wait until Spring and take it with Wall.. Hunt's grade dist. didnt really look that great and i need something fairly easy to take with biochem

Anything with Bateman. He has an awesome sense of humor, doesn't take himself seriously, and his tests are based on in class notes.

i took him for 251.... it's honestly not that hard to get an A in his class if you just do what he tells you.... don't try to be fancy or creative just do what he says[Edited on June 29, 2006 at 3:29 AM. Reason : ]

I am taking World Lit II this fall and am a Bio major...I've only had 101 as wellI saw something in the course catalog for Medicine in Literature or something, don't remember the #, but it sounded interesting. Doesn't look like it's being offered anytime soon, though.
