FREE WORKING COMPUTER!!!! Flood control wouldn't let me create a new topic.I believe its a 450 mhz PII. Just needs a hard drive. comes with CD-Rom drive, 196 MB PC-100 RAM. I was using it as my web & FTP server. maybe it'll be useful to somebody. will be at the dumpsters at avery close in about 15 minutes (4 PM). the model is an IBM 300GL. the others that will be out there I believe function as well, but they will need ram and hard drives.this one will be marked with a sticker that says "SERVEVIEW B-4" on the front. oh yeah, comes w/ NIC card too. enjoy!

hey, I just got back, tried to knock ont he door to say thanks....what type of mobo's were those on the porch?
6/24/2006 4:10:10 PM
sorry about that. i was upstairs...so no problem. they were i believe socket 7 amd k6-2 mobos that take pc-100. not too sure though. just stuff i never got around to putting together.UPDATE: There will be a 300GL with a hard drive out there that you can take out and put into the "SERVEVIEW B-4" mentioned above. all of these computers have PII ~450 mhz slot processors. the one that has a hard drive will be marked with a "HD" on top of it. all of the 300GL's out there have working processors, to the best of my knowledge working mobos, power supplies, integrated S3 video, and the one that I am sure that works has a CD drive.
