Anyone see a sign of the midterm? The prof said it would be available Saturday at the bottom of the assignments page and I see no sign of it. Also, does anyone know how long it will be available?

i just took the STS 322 midterm, i thought it was pretty long but i might have taken too much time on the multiple choice than i should have, good luck though

I've taken it now, and I agree. Push through the MC if you can, because the essays are a bit longer. I think I finished the 25 questions in about 20 mins and finished the whole thing in 55. And I was scrambling to find specific details.

I just finished the exam and those essay questions were a bad surprise coming up on the end there. I could not find part of the answer for the 2nd to last and spent too much time on it. I ended up just throwing down words for the last question. I saved a couple of times so I am not sure at what point I went into overtime. The final tally was 1 hr 1 min and a few seconds. I would have much rather had the 5 and 10 point questions in the beginning.

that's a pretty hard class to take in the classroom.... i never would have gotten an A if he didn't recycle his test questions so i was prepared!!!!

i just took the summer class and it was a breeze. Easy questions that were gone over pretty well in the reading or the lecture notes.

^^ yeah I forgot to renew my copy from NCSU before someone else had reserved it, so I had to get a copy from UNCC. I was afraid I was gonna end up in your situation and then I found the copy down there.

You could borrow mine if you plan to take the final 2nite or early tomorrow. I'd need it back Wed evening as I'm moving from Raleigh.

yeah...i've noticed that like the only class where the papers you have to write are hard is for english teachers...the rest of the professors dont get all nit picky and actually look at the content

if you look, it does say on the site that the paper and exam are due July 28th. Even though the instructions for the paper say the 26th. I take what I can get.
