Its going to depend on how much fabric there is. Being a good suit its probably is safe to assume the extra fabric is there.

Dude, you should definitely think about keeping the pants not pleated. Pleats are not the most attractive things in the world and flat-fronted pants are really in style right now.

^ i agree.

when i see pleats, i think "old". or at least "old-fashioned".

all the trendy brands are coming out with flat-front pants now. they make you look slimmer and more "executive".

i agree. pleats are unattractive and for older or overweight gentlemen.

however, sharp creases are a different story.

Were em like they are now, then when pleats come in style again, because some fagmo in france starts designing that way out of boredom because he hasn't been getting ass reamed enough lately, then you can pleat them and be good to go.

it really depends on how much fabric is left over when you wear it...if its baggy they may be able to do it..but it'll probably be tight on you when they pleat it

Now you just need to add tapered pants for the trifecta.

sadly, yes. I bought a pair of ralph lauren khakis a couple of years ago, didn't try them on and when I got home, I noticed the fuckers were tapered.

they ended up going to goodwill shortly thereafter.

^ yikes

also, i'll be rocking braided belts and sportcoats with elbow patches

for real though, i'm just fed up with the metrosexual movement. sometimes i just like my pants pleated, don't want gel in my hair, and don't want to wear an untucked striped shirt

flat front pants are not a metrosexual trend. it's a much cleaner-lined look, slimmer, and not so old looking. even with the old-school details like the braided belt, etc doesn't mean you NEED pleats.

i just happen to like the look of pleats sometimes. this would be only one of three black suits where i would have pleats on the pants.

i was just joking about the other stuff ok...kinda

haha okay. well, i've seen some men pull off the elbow patches, etc. but yes, most tailors can do this, dependent on the amount of extra fabric in the pants. i don't have any experience with tailors in this area, so no recommendations. but good luck.
