and his children from around im guessing about 1910-20my moms sent it for my birthday, and its obviously a copy of the original which they obviously still have.->My concern is in that one of the children, it appears that his face has either been somehow drawn in or somehow distorted, like it looks like one side of his face looks somewhat like a beginning sketcher would draw a basic symmetrical face, and the shadows that are in the rest of the image give way to this almost composite sketch sort of detail, and it only looks to be half of his face in this conditionalso, in the daughter's face, it appears that the left side of her face is slightly altered as well, as the left eye is slightly lower than it should be, it is also lighter than the rest of her face, and the corner of her lip is snipped off a bitIs this because of wear and tear of the photograph, because of the way exposures or whatever where created/treated, maybe the photograph was folded? And is it common for one to attempt to redraw parts of a photograph that begin to wear? because it doesnt look like a bad redraw, it seems more like it would be a composite sketch, perhaps professionals did this?this really has me curious[Edited on June 20, 2006 at 6:32 PM.
