Anyone have a good guess? I thought maybe border collie/pit bull but I'm really not sure. I'll be fostering him soon, so I'd like to have a good guess for his advertisements.

He's guessed to be around 35lbs, so I guess you're right. Border collies are 30-45lbs, pit bulls are generally around 35-55lbs according to one website.

i would go with bordercollie/pit as well...just about every damn mutt out there is a pit mix of some sort, but i can definitely see it in this dog (head shape and ears)

^Do you know anything of dog anatomy? Look at his head and jaw, they are massive and look like a pit's.

heck yeah i do. My brother use to breed pitts and believe me, this dog's head and jaw resemble nothing of that. And I could tell you anything about that breed you'd want to know.people automatically assume that a dog has "pitt" in him when his head and jaw is a little rounded. A common dog misconception.

I don't know how much it affects the pic, but his jaw is a little lop-sided - they guess from being hit by a car at one time. But the forehead is what made me think pit. I'll know better when I pick him up Friday-ish.

I agree. I don't see any pitt bull. One jaw does look a lot bigger than the other. He looks like a good ol' fashion mutt to me. Just call him a border collie mix.
