I've seen a few of those companies listed and know of some people who have went to interviews and didn't know about possible "scams". I just haven't heard anything about this one in particular.

My dumbass interviewed for one of these same companies and I knew it was complete bullshit right off the bat. But a lot of people don't recognize the scam. I would say that the rip-off website is right on the money. Beware "entry-level manager". It also is a lot like a cult. The girl I went out into the "field" (aka outside an Office Depot in Winston Salem with after driving almost 2 hours) with could do nothing but talk about how she couldn't wait to hang out with the folks in the company that weekend.

My advice to you: Ignore it and find something else.

My dumbass also interviewed with them a few weeks ago.

The guy who interviewed me was some asian dude who kept his sunglasses on the entire time in that dark-ass wanna-be office. He also had an ear phonepiece that he kept on at all times.

He kept talking to me about how "great" this company was and how I could be a manager too, if I worked hard enough. He then proceeded to ask me if I knew what an MP3 player was, and I told him I had bought a 6 GB one just last week. He asks me how much I paid for it, then proceeds to throw down the shittiest 128 mb mp3 player I had ever seen. He then has the audicity to say "I bet you feel like an idiot for spending $200 when you could have had this one for $40!

Then he sees I have karate listed as a hobby on my resume, and asks if I am a tournament fighter. I tell him that my karate is not very competitive in tournaments, and he tells me that only tournament fighters like him are good, because "otherwise you just suck and you don't know it"

I walked out of there with my intelligence so insulted I wanted to smack that self-righteous prick.

And yeah, I realized it was a scam within 2 seconds of walking in there.

That's a shitty way to run a company. Every place worth working for realizes that you have to bring in outside talent to keep the organization from becoming myopic.
