Sound Pet Animal Rescue needs foster homes. They take care of all costs - you just provide a loving environment for the puppy or dog. The kennels are full and right now, so it's as though the recently pulled dogs just went from one shelter to another, only they won't be killed at this one. Please go to http://www.soundpet.org if you think you can help out!! The max amount of time I've had a puppy was 2.5 months. It is very rare to have a dog/puppy for very long because we make all efforts to get them adopted. Fostering is a great way to have an animal only temporarily if you can't have one all the time. If you are going on vacation, fine - drop the dog/puppy off at the rescue for the period of time you're gone. They're great people and very laidback about that sort of thing, because they want it to be convenient for you. Please spread the word!!! Thanks!Resources:Rescue website: http://www.soundpet.orgFounder emails: brittany@soundpet.org, peyton@soundpet.org

btttMore foster homes = more rescues = more adoptions of the poor animals that were subjected to irresponsible owners!

We want Rosemary but not sure how her having the pups is going to affect the process.

The only thing it'll cause is a delay in when you'd pick her up. You can go ahead with the application process, and once the puppies are ready to be placed so will Rosemary. She's adorable, good choice.

Fortunately we have potential adoptions pending, so that's great! But the more foster homes we have, the more doggies we can rescue from the shelters!! Or cats if you're into them

Sent in an application to adopt Rosemary. We are going to stop by the hospital to see her on Monday. Hopefully my wife being a veterinarian will pull some weight in their decision process. We shall see.

Cool Looks like she should already have a good home, and that's always a great thing.

bttt - we're pulling more dogs from shelters after the holiday, so it's the perfect time to apply and get approval as a foster parent!! Remember, you don't have to only take care of puppies, which require a lot of potty-training - you can prefer older-adult dogs that would only need housetraining b/c they need to adjust to your place and schedule. It's really fun and great to see these animals being saved and finding good homes. The people with Sound Pet are really great too.
