I am selling a gateway computer system for $350...it has I think a 900 Mhz processer and 128 MB memory, I have Windows 98 on it right now but it is ready for Windows XP. It also has a CD-burner and I think a DVD drive, but it may just be a CD drive (my wife got it from work and I haven't had a lot of time with it). Also it comes with a mutimedia keyboard, mouse, and 19" Monitor (CRT) which looks pretty new and barely used. Anyways contact me via PM if you are interested

you won't get anything near $350 for that computer. you can easily get a new one 3X that fast for $300. I would ask for $60

I will entertain lower offers for the system... but i want to sell it as a whole, not part it. Make offers, even if they are lower.

just an FYI I bought a P3 1 GHz Gateway system with 20 GB HDD and 128 MB PC 133 ram and only a CD-Rom drive with 17" monitor for $70, then sold the monitor for $20
6/11/2006 5:22:28 PM
I agree with everyone else here, and good luck getting more than 50 bucks for that thing sans the monitor. I'll take $20 to film you smashing it.

However, if the CPU is a neural net processor, I'll take it!
6/12/2006 10:07:23 PM
listen...I am here to sell something...if you don't agree with the price you can bid another one or just shut the hell up! Thank you

the best alternative is to donate it to some sort of non-profit organization that needs a computer to do basic stuff like a church or something. You could claim it as a tax write off for donations.btw, I wouldn't want XP to run a pc with just 128mb of ram. yikes. after you install it, yikes, welcome to slowville.
6/13/2006 3:35:48 AM
I agree...but I am trying to get rid of it here is a new idea...I could barter either a stick of PC2100 256 notebook memory or a stick of 512 MB transflash memory for my verizon phone.

Donation is really your only option. nobody here will buy that for more than $20 including the monitor I would think. Seriously, do a quick search to figure out the actual value of that rig before you try to sell it, I thought this was some kinda joke at $350. wow.
6/13/2006 7:19:44 AM
did I not make it clear that I only want serious responses...if you are not bidding...please keep your comments to yourself
6/13/2006 8:48:45 AM
I will give you $30 for the system, without the Monitor (i have enough monitors)[Edited on June 13, 2006 at 3:19 PM. Reason : t]

What are the actual specs? You said you think it has a 900 Mhz processor and 128 MB RAM. Is that a definite? And what type of processor is it? PIII or Celeron (I'm assuming its and Intel)?
