it's a portable device...I wouldn't call it a laptop...but it's hot as hell...I could see using it a lot in between my bedroom and living room or on travel.

The X60 is a nice ultralight with a non glossy screen. Only real downside is that you have to use an external optical drive. If you're interested, the bookstore should have pricing in about a week or two.The x41 tablet is a nice tablet, but if you want something with decent price/performance you'll be paying a lot more for the "tablet" features than anything else.

I have a Dell L400 I use as my bookbag comp for school. I bought it off Ebay for $250. Its 700 mhz 30GB HD, runs Windows XP and has wireless internet with a PMCIA card. It has a 12" screen and the thing is tiny (3 lbs).
