It's true...In California, about 8 years ago, a cousin of mine killed her son with her minivan. The little boy, 3 years old, was playing outside and my cousin backed up and it got crushed under the wheel. He died in the Hospital from internal bleeding. It was in the news and stuff. It was pretty sad.

OH MY GOD IT IS TRUE!!!I was even able to replicate these findings in my own experiment...It really is harder to see a kid from a truck than a car!

what kind of dumbass kid gets hit by any sort of car/suv/anything in the first place?unless we're talking deaf/blind kids...my mom's in germany right now and she rented a nice brand new 530i and it has this perimeter alarm that beeps and tells you WARNING (achtung, hee), when you're backing up too close to another car...She is so impressed, she wants a new one now.
