nobody has the U, blah blah blah
6/6/2006 8:48:40 AM
I will have ESPNU by then hopefully. That channel should be in standard packages.
6/6/2006 8:50:02 AM
^No, it's another waste of a channel so ESPN can corner the market more. It should be on local channels.
6/6/2006 9:04:56 AM
So annoying...I want DishHD but I don't want "HD Lite" and I don't wanna pay $100+/month just for television and hafta pay even more for some source of internet.EDIT: Is there anything like mlb.tv for college football and/or basketball? I'd gladly pay to watch the games on the PC.[Edited on June 6, 2006 at 9:07 AM. Reason : .]
6/6/2006 9:06:20 AM
great...noon game on my b-day
6/6/2006 9:13:36 AM
^^Yes, ESPN FullCourt (basketball) and ESPN GamePlan (football) are available over the internet. However, games on ESPNU are not available on those packages.
6/6/2006 11:11:54 AM
Do away with ESPN Classic and give people ESPNU
6/6/2006 11:41:59 AM
^agreed ^^yeah its bullshit to not include espnU games on the gameplan and fullcourt packages, when they know damn well that nobody in the country gets espnU
6/6/2006 11:44:45 AM
^^why do away with ESPN Classic? you actually have a chance to see State win something on ESPNC
6/6/2006 11:55:35 AM

^ I'm not talking about Time Warner, I'm talking about the Charter cable service I'll have once I move outta here in 3 weeks.
6/6/2006 12:54:45 PM
^Yep, Charter blows.
6/6/2006 2:15:20 PM
the interface of charter is about 300 times better than timewarnerbut the lack of some channels is kind of annoying
6/6/2006 3:07:14 PM
i am overall pleased with my time warner digital but the lack of espn2hd and espnu often pisses me off during bball and football season
6/6/2006 3:08:09 PM
just to let you guys knowespn, espn2, espn classic, espnUthey are all going to become pay channels through time warner cable real soonkind of like the movie channels and the packages they do for thoseyou will have to pay extra for the espn package
6/7/2006 2:37:31 PM
what are you basing this "inside information" on?
6/7/2006 2:42:19 PM
^^now that is some fucking bullshitpay extra even for just espn??[Edited on June 7, 2006 at 2:42 PM. Reason : .]
6/7/2006 2:42:31 PM
^^^ I think hes referring to al a carte legislation, which is gaining steam but is far from going into effect. Basically, you pay for the channels you want, which means lots of savings for people who dont care about sports, but for those of us that do, we will probably end up picking up the slack.
6/8/2006 9:56:34 AM
6/8/2006 9:59:39 AM
^But they are helping out the sports bars.

I have Charter in Atlanta. We have HD channels. No ESPN2HD or ESPNU though. The only cable company with ESPNU that I know of is Adelphia.

6/9/2006 3:25:56 PM
are they seriously trying to give us 12pm games as punishments for tailgating??
6/9/2006 3:50:36 PM
just so long as i get to pick from EVERYTHING. i could see now its gonna be something like you have to get the chennels nobody watches and then news, movies, entertainment, and sports be the optional channels. i want to be able to deduct fox family, wgn, lifetime, qvc and all that stupid shit.
