FTF, 18+ only, no felons allowed. Prices a little high because I had to clean the damned cosmoline out of them. The Mauser and SKS are both properly headspaced.$200 OBO:Yugoslavian Mauser, M48A. Great wood, excellent working condition, good trigger. Shiny bore. I put some orange nailpolish on the front sight, but otherwise unmodified. Comes with a bayonet. It's the second one from the left.$175 OBO:Yugoslavian SKS, M59/66A1. Wood's a little weird (whoever had it as an issue weapon carved on it a little), but it works just fine. Good for ~2MOA with the gas system off, I haven't shot it for groups with gas system on. It's the one on the right.$100 OBO:Romanian trainer rifle, M1969. It's a Romanian trainer rifle, not much else to say about it. Pretty accurate. Previous owner kind of glopped orange paint onto the front sight, but I never bothered to remove it because I would've put some nailpolish on it anyway. Third from left.[Edited on May 31, 2006 at 10:10 AM. Reason : .]

If you need the money why don't you sell the guns on ebay. I guarantee you will get more money than from a bunch of poor college students.
5/31/2006 7:11:27 PM
You can't sell firearms on eBay.Gunbroker.com
5/31/2006 7:22:46 PM
Ehh, I don't need the money THAT badly, and then I'd have to deal with FFLs and shipping guns and all that crap.
5/31/2006 7:25:00 PM
^^^most of us have real jobs now, we arent poor college students

6/1/2006 6:35:37 PM
$71 on the mauser
6/1/2006 7:39:02 PM
the mauser is a damn nice gun. for all of you who are bidding on the SKS just because it is an "SKS" and you have heard of it in the movies, or army, or on a video game...the mauser is a much nicer piece of work. better gun, worth more money, more reliable. SKS's are fun but first of all that price is high for an older model and you can order the parts from china and pay a gun shop to put it together for you spending about $180 brand new with tripod and 100round drum. i just did this last year. just fyi.someone hook this kid up with the M48a
6/1/2006 7:53:39 PM
i have a ww2 german mauser at home (i know nothing about guns - obviously - so i can't say more than that)
6/1/2006 8:37:49 PM
ncemt: Sure, but after all that stuff, you may as well just have an AK. Purchasing a new, still-in-cosmoline SKS will cost you right around $120 online, plus shipping, plus transfer, plus "a bunch" of work to finally get the cosmo out.And there is no way in hell this Mauser's moving for so little. Remember, sling and bayonet included, along with a handful (literally, a handful; bring your own baggy, I guess) of nice two-piece stripper clips. You know, the kind that actually work properly.
6/1/2006 8:59:56 PM
the supply of yugos is drying up, $125 is about right. I would like to know where you sourced your drum.
6/1/2006 9:01:16 PM
^^hey man don't get me wrong! I was in no way trying to downgrade the sks, it's a solid gun and worth what you are asking. especially because of the fact that it is a yugo and not chinese (which is worth much less). amazing gun for someone who appreciates it only if u are just gonna blast off rounds with one u could do it cheap. i was really just trying to pump the mauser! that is a nice as piece of work! hence why i pmed u about coming by to take a look. just think it is funny that the more widely recognized name gets pumped so much more on here when a better gun is getting shit offers. sorry if it was interepreted wrong
6/1/2006 9:10:48 PM
^wtfI know what I"m bidding on, I love to shoot them.
6/1/2006 10:03:40 PM
Heh. I take it you already have a few? I think 5.0 wants one for his first centerfire rifle, actually.Bidding's still open...Mauser: going nowhere so farSKS: $125, rjrumfel winning[Edited on June 1, 2006 at 11:46 PM. Reason : .]
6/1/2006 11:45:22 PM
no, actually, I do not currently own a rifleI've got a remington 12 ga, but thats itI figure this is a good starter rifle...my father has one, and I've worn his out.
6/2/2006 12:22:58 AM
The drama deepens. O_oMy first rifle was actually an M48 (since sold; friend of mine really wanted it). It was interesting, owning a freaking Mauser for my first personal arm. [Edited on June 2, 2006 at 12:43 AM. Reason : ]
6/2/2006 12:42:53 AM
my roomate bids 100 on the mauser
6/2/2006 12:45:04 AM
Gonna need more than $100 to get me to part with that baby......remember, bayonet and some (let's say 10) stripper clips included![Edited on June 2, 2006 at 12:52 AM. Reason : .]
6/2/2006 12:52:23 AM
what is the third from the right and how much for it?
6/2/2006 2:08:55 AM
..........armory reman youga sks is worth about 90 still in the box, maybe 100 for a almsot perfect one. A mauser is NOT worth more, i have gotten one at a gun show that had been armory reman with new barrel on it for 75.
6/2/2006 3:02:37 AM
Um. Last I looked for an uninissued (Interord), they're up around $150. Prices are not what they used to be.firefox: That's a CZ 452 FS in .22LR. It'd take about $350 to convince me to get rid of it.
