Is the NC State @ Southern Miss game considered a C-USA game? I figured that game would be on ESPN2 or FSN South.
5/31/2006 8:13:46 AM
we only have 1 televised game? wtf
5/31/2006 8:33:46 AM
5/31/2006 8:40:03 AM
its not a complete tv schedule. the rest of the games are picked up by tv as the season progresses. abc gets first choice, then espn, then lf/raycom
5/31/2006 8:41:16 AM
wow, I like how they fabricate "rivalries" for unc by putting their games on ESPN
5/31/2006 8:43:59 AM
seriously, wtf is up with UNC/Rutgers getting airtime?BC/Central Michigan?lame

The only games scheduled more than two weeks in advance are the first weekend or so, thursday night games, and championship games. ABC, ESPN, Raycom (with sometimes Fox Sports) make their picks in order of priority for which games they want to carry after they see which games will be most attractive.

Haha I know for real.I DON'T want us on tv this year.
5/31/2006 9:57:48 AM
I was also under the impression that this changes frequently except for the ESPN thursday night games. Do "you people" remember us getting game times switched for TV coverage these past few years? From what I remember, they did it as late as the weekend before the game. I could be wrong though.
5/31/2006 10:00:52 AM
Uh, game time usually aren't established until 12 days or so before the game, after the networks decide what they are picking up (thursday night games being the exception).

These are just the NATIONALLY TELEVISED ACC games for the season. There will be plenty of regional action that, like markgoal just said, get decided 12 days ahead of time.

These are just the Nationally Televised ACC games for the first 3 weekends. Would we expect anyone to pick up App, Akron, or USM to broadcast? We'll see plenty of TV once we play real teams.

5/31/2006 9:58:31 PM
