like heres the deal, i signed up for direct deposit on the 18th

the page says it takes 10 days to kick into effect

so i figure it will come in the mail(since thats what a woman in the fin aid office told me )

well its been over 10 days and still no check in the mail and i still dont see it in my wachovia account

Yes, I have. It showed up in my account the Friday before classes began.

If you go to the office, they won't be able to do anything. At best, they'll cancel the old check, and send a new one. At worst Likely, they'll tell you to chill and wait for the check.

from what i read on the website aid wasnt given out until the first day of summer classes(the 22nd)

i want the money the fastest way possible, guess i'll go in tomorrow and see if they can just like hand me a new check or something

I know it's not supposed to be disbursed until the first day of classes. I'm telling you what happened. This happened for spring, as well.

Go in, tell them you're afraid your mail was misdirected (and this being the time of year many people move around a lot, this statement will carry a lot of weight), and ask them to cancel the paper check, and if DD has been activated, disburse it that way.

I still haven't gotten a refund, but the Cashier's office says that they have my funds. Not sure what's up with that.

did they give all the aid they're going to give for the entire summer already? ....because i got some for sum1 .....but nothing (as of yet) for sum2.....which is going to hurt alot money wise....

yeah thats the other thing...i already paid my 891 bill for summer 1 out of my own pocket

so this 1000 i'm getting is like all for me, and summer 2 is due june 14th, so i'm gonna have to use summer 1 money to pay for summer 2 and then get summer 2's money and put it in my account

Nope. You'll get SUMII aid the day SSII starts (or maybe even the business day before then...I've had my DDs before classes started, too)

how DO you get fin aid for Summer Sessions?

actually, I don't know why I'm asking this question. I'm betting they're not gonna claim any more fin aid for summer session II, and I'm pretty sure I won't be here after the spring.
