Is the lecture material on the quizzes?

If you're referring to the distance ed. version of this course, the lecture stuff was NOT on the quizzes last summer session, only PDF material.

However, some folks have said he's toughened up the class slightly since then, so who knows...I'd still bank on it having 95% PDF material only.

I've heard the questions aren't as easy as before. I assume this means you hafta look closer in the PDFs to find the answers.

Still, this class is one of the easiest at NC State.

The essays you just write off the top of your head. No research was required for mine (no citations, nothing). I just wrote what I felt like and got an A on the essays.

study the power point slides and have the book and lectures open and that will help a lot...u can generally find the shit in the lecture quickly and the rest is from PDFs

for the midterm i honestly thought i should have got about a 70 cause i really was thinking of strict grading

he was very lenient and i got a 86

it was at that moment i kicked it into gear in spring 06 cause i knew i hadnt fucked up bad enough yet

ended up with a 3.083

well, i turned my essays in early for the midterm...thougth i did a terrific job on 2 and pretty good job on the 3rd...expected a 90-92 on it...instead, got an 85. hettche is a very difficult grader and is pretty specific, so don't fuck around on your essays.

Man, I had the opposite thing happen on my essay. Wrote something pretty quick w/o a ton of effort and seriously got a 100. First 100 on a paper I'd ever had (and ever did get) in college.

the quizzes arent really that hard if you actually study them like you would if no one had said this was such an easy class...like i got a bad scorethe first time bc i didnt really study but once i studied i was able to do well on the quizzes
