Washington Nationals catcher, Matt LeCroy, got yanked in the middle of the inning today. I have never seen that happen, ever.http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/recap?gameId=260525120

he was throwing like Rube in Major League 2 except Rube just couldnt throw back to the mound he could throw to 2nd and 3rd

i just saw this on sportscenter. it was pretty bad even if he was out of position. a major leager should be able to throw from home to second.

This guy went to Clemson. I don't know why Frank didn't put in Fick to start with. Fick was a catcher for the Tigers before the Braves turned him into a first baseman . . . he's probably spent more time behind the plate in the majors than LeCroy has. Here we go, the stats.Since 1998, Fick has played in 133 games behind the plate, 934 innings. Since 2000, LeCroy has spent 120 games as a catcher, 838 innings. Not a huge difference, but Fick still has more experience.
