i have a wireless mouse and keyboard but im trying to switch to a wired mouse

when i plug it in there's no prompt from the machine to install any drivers or anything

its a dell computer and they're both dell mice

i went to the "mouse" option in control panel and still nothing

help me out

nevermind i hooked it up and turned the comp off and on again and it was on the add hardware list
