System Admin/Software Dev/Network Security intern

Job Description:
Assist Cisco engineering team staff with general system administration
tasks. Install and configure various network devices. Develop and modify
test scripts. Utilize various tools to conduct network security tests.

Qualifications:
Programming skills (development, TCL or PERL scripting, etc.) and
experience are required. Familiarity with the TCP/IP protocol stack is
desired. Familiarity with a variety of network devices. Experience with
protocol security analysis. Experience in testing or quality assurance is
preferred. Comfortable working in a networking laboratory. Senior, or
graduate student in a computer or networking related field required.

Do you have to have any networking experience? I just have programming experience, I'm CSC by the way.

networking experience is a huge plus, but can't hurt to apply and let your interviewers decide.
