What would you suggest? I have never been on a cruise before and I would like to take my girlfriend and I on one toward the end of the summer. Looking for 3-5 days and to the Caribbean. What cruise lines would you suggest. We would like it to be a young crowd with drinking and partying. We are both in our early 20's.

I went on a Carnival Cruise earlier this year and it was a blast. I looked all over the internet for deals and went into Remember Travel at Triangle Town Center. Their price was the same that I found online plus you are dealing with someone in person. our 7 day cruise was $750 each and stopped in key west, belize and costa maya. definately alot of partying anf an overall great experience. it was my first cruise, and I cant wait to do it next year! Also dont think that the price of the cruise is all your paying for... by alcohol tab from the ship was $650, and my girlfriends was around the same. plus there is all the gratuity and money you spend on the stops. its expensive but worth every penny!

to kinda change the direction of the thread...

for those of you who have booked online: do you find it best to wait till like 2 months before the cruise and try to find some awesome deal on a voyage that needs to get filled up, or book like 6 months in advance so you can have the most options?

the reason i ask is that i just want to go on one for spring break, somewhere in the bahamas or carribean. i've been to the western carib before so i'd like to go to another region, but i'll take what i can get.

also, lets say i booked on orbitz. i can still go on the cruise line's website and setup excursions in the ports and my dining times and all those details right?
