I got a warning ticket at North hall during SCA training and then another warning ticket on monday in the Bragaw lot. Is it three strikes and you're out or are they being a little less nazi-ish than usual?

^^they weren't supposed to ticket in certain areas... you may have been in a spot that still required a permit during the lax period and they were just being nice giving you a warning.

I say this in every "what's the deal with parking on campus in the summer" threads.

They continue to ticket on campus even when students are not around because the faculty staff still have to come in and work. They can't pass on an opportunity to stick it to the employees.

i have to come to school in the summer and i paid for a parking permit. i'd be pretty pissed if all the spots were taken by people who don't have permits.

oh yeah and most profs are around right now.

The same way that they do against students. They give you the ticket and expect you to pay it. If you don't, and they find your car in a situation where it would be ticketed again . . . they put a boot on the car and don't remove it until you pay all hte back fines and an additional fee to remove the boot.


Or maybe it is on the 3rd time that they boot it.

I got a warning last summer, but as soon as the fall started, BAM $50 ticket, I think they just dont care as much in the summer

you get a warning on your first ticket. and after that you get tickets. it doesn't have anything to do with summer.

i parked at bragaw all last summer and never got one

parked at sullivan today twice and didnt get one

i'm pretty sure you can park at sullivan, it was pretty empty
