pb's on saturdays, i think that's when they have like penny beers or some shit w/ a $5 cover
east village the rest of the week, they always have like a $2 beer of the month

EV's wings are my favorite... but I like breaded wings and not many people do...

monday night: saucer $2.50 pint night (as mentioned)
tuesday night?
weds night rum runners... what they aren't telling you is the bar attached to rum runners has
$1.50 killans bass guiness (and some crap bere)... people are talking about the $0.75 well drinks
thursday night: PB's has dollar night but $5 cover
friday night... hit up glenwood there are LOTS of bars in that area... but be ready for $5 beers but
the older chicks(25-35 not college girls) who are eager to talk and take home are out...
saturday night FARMHOUSE has $0.50 pbr... its rather greek and young... but no cover... and you
can't drink for that cheap at home

I was pleasantly surprised with EV's Po' Boy sandwiches... a little too much slaw and never will it be as good as Dockside's in Wilmington, but it was not bad for being 2 hours from the beach

^omg and they make you pay 0.75 per drink after that. I would much rather pay ~$3/drink with no cover.

on a serious note, it's cool the first dozen times you go there, but after that the sausage and drink lines start to get to you. What I did was tip REALLY WELL the first 5-6 times I went there then I would tip slightly above average and got to know the bartenders. They will hook you up if you hook them up.

yes, owner of the recently closed Cuba and some other good restaurant downtown. Raising Ale should be a damn good spot.
