where are there some art supply stores aside from Michael's and A.C. Moore? More specifically stores where the sales people actually know about the stuff they sell?

I dislike the misleading, pushy manager (ok, maybe he's not the manager, but he acts like it and is a loud mouth) who mislead me on 2 different occasions at Jerry's Art Arama. I do still shop there sometimes for paper, though.I prefer Askew-Taylor's for my art and some craft needs at 110 Glenwood Avenue. The prices are good, they're very helpful, and they're not a chain.[Edited on May 21, 2006 at 1:01 AM. Reason : wrong word]

^^^^^ The people who run the place are from New York. Loud and pushy is all they know.
