6/2/2006 10:47:25 PM
Awesome, thanks. Yea, to be honest I haven't even looked at it. I took 216 last fall and have never done much with java so it'll prob take me a little while to figure it out, but oh well.I need to take a week off of work and just watch all the lectures and get all the work done for at least the next 2 weeks, ha ha.And that's great about the servers - I'm about to just e-mail him the assignment[Edited on June 2, 2006 at 10:50 PM. 6/16/2006 10:39:23 PM
What program assignments are you guys doing?
6/17/2006 7:11:33 PM
eh, first one was just implementing dequeue, queue, stack, classes - shitlike that - i got the book the day it was due and wasn't a big deal.I haven't looked at the second one much, but it's dealing with finding a path thrugh a maze with some kind of stipulations, but like i said, i haven't really looked at it
6/17/2006 8:05:11 PM
the second one is a fucking bitch[Edited on June 17, 2006 at 10:31 PM. Reason : asdf]

[Edited on June 17, 2006 at 10:36 PM. Reason : nothing interesting]
6/17/2006 10:33:33 PM
The second one is actually very very very easy. The algorithm is covered in lecture, once you understand that, coding the recursive program is a cinch.I had issues with the loop method though, but thats because I did it on the day it was due.
6/18/2006 2:51:35 AM
damn, guess i should look at it right after the midterm then
6/18/2006 3:37:09 AM

He doesn't curve tests but does curve your final grade a bit. Also, his tests are graded very nicely.

Has anyone been able to find the .zip file discussed in the previous semester's messages for Program 3? I looked on the book's website but wasn't sure where that file actually is. It seems like this file reduces the number of changes needed from the code fragments.

7/19/2006 9:19:50 PM
Let G be a graph whose vertices are the integers 1 through 8, and let the adjacent vertices of each vertex be given by the table below:vertex | adjacent vertices 1 | (2,3,4) 2 | (1,3,4) 3 | (1,2,4) 4 | (1,2,3,6) 5 | (6,7,8) 6 | (4,5,7) 7 | (5,6,8) 8 | (5,7)Assume that in a traversal of G, the adjacent vertices of a given vertex are returned in the same order as they are listed in the above table.a) Draw G.[Edited on July 20, 2006 at 9:37 AM.
