Anyone know of such a beast? I've been using Partition Logic...but it doesn't handle SATA drives. And the bootable part is important. Thx for ideas

When I got my computer, the HDDs were unformatted. My computer came with some nVidia RAID software, so I just set up the striping array and my Windows XP CD was able to partition the two drives as though they were one big one.If you're not installing Windows, I don't know how to help you. Sorry.

Hiren's Boot CD has a few partition managers on it.Haven't tested any with SATA, but I'm sure there's something there.

I'll check, but most of those do-it-all boot cds don't do sata since they weren't created recently.

Hirens 8 will clone sata-sata (ghost8.3).i did it today. So theres at least some compatibility.

GParted LiveCD doesn't support SATA from a couple threads I saw about it.(Why does synapse always ask the difficult questions in TT? )
