I tried connecting my USB wireless adapter (A DLink DWL-G122 - http://www.dlink.com/products/?sec=1&pid=334) to my 360, with no success. I didn't try to install any drivers for it on the 360 though (or even know if that is possible).

I can almost guarantee that won't work, because that would be a cheap easy solution to getting wireless internet to the xbox, and that goes against everything Microsoft stands for.
