We thought about it and pretty much decided that it was going to be about 200 in parts and that it would just be a money pit. We decided to see if we could get one used first. The fridge we were going to use is kind of a piece and the compressor is going to go out. We thought it would be too hard to regulate the temp like you are supposed to and so our beer would go bad pretty fast.[Edited on May 11, 2006 at 11:35 AM. Reason : ]

you can easily buy the parts, a used fridge, and build one for 200 and the only thing that would be a money pit is filling the co2 tanks every 7 or so kegs.

I've got all the equipment to build a kegerator minus some of the hoses and the fridge that I wouldnt mind parting with.
