TV's color isn't that good....the color is pretty red but it's useable. Monitor works great. Pics coming later.

^ did you have it near something with big magnets (ie. external speakers)? because that'll throw off the colorjust as an aside, i had this problem with a television of mine, but i bought a degaussing coil to fix it myself (it's really easy to do but the coil wasn't cheap)...if someone buys his television and wants it fixed, i'll fix the color for $20 (i can come to you for that price or you can bring it to me for $15...takes up to 30 minutes)[Edited on May 10, 2006 at 6:30 PM. hmmm...i'm interested...i'll post a picture and see if you could tell that's the case. the tv was given by a friend. he didn't mention anything about it other then the color isn't the best.oh yeah how much is the coil?[Edited on May 10, 2006 at 6:35 PM. Reason : coil]

27" is borderline on being considered a large screen television...there are two different sizes, small and large coils...i was working with a 32", so i went with the larger size...also, i originally bought a no-name generic coil off of ebay for about $45, but it didn't take care of the issue...i sent it back and spent the extra $25 (total of $70 + $9 s&h) for a name-brand (philips, i think) and it did the trick just fine...they were both the same size and appeared to be identical (save for branding), but the generic one didn't work...the generic was new, the philips was used
