http://www.ncsu.edu/annualfundif you need a job over the summer we're hiring. shifts are monday through thursday 5:30-8:30. 2 shifts are required every week, but you have call-ins you can use. you can apply through our website if interested.almost forgot the description of the job. we have a calling center where callers call alumni and parents and ask/solicit tax deductible contributions. not gonna lie, it's basically telemarketing, but the atmosphere is relaxed and it's all college students. also: you have to be a current NC State student to get the job.[Edited on May 9, 2006 at 6:28 PM. sorry to disappoint. There is a raise for every semester you come back to work for us, and you can get additional raises by raising X amount of money, coming in more than X times, and keeping your pledge percentage above X. So there is a potential for much more than 7.75

he's my roomate, and you told me u were gonna work at that gas station bitch, so i'll review your application again and send you an email
7/15/2006 9:00:23 AM
do they take taxes out of your paychecks? When I worked at the library it was considered working for the state so taxes werent deducted, and I dont think I had to pay anything extra when tax season rolled aroundjust a little perk that I found back in the day
7/15/2006 9:35:30 AM
they do take taxes out, because we aren't under the actual university administration. we get paid by nc state, but the actual annual fund is contracted by nc state to raise funds. it's kinda silly and we're basically one of the only fundraising organizations for a large university that works that way. everyone else appropriates funds for the fundraising organization, which in turn generates more revenue for the school. but i don't run nc state, so i can't change anything on that note.........bttt!
7/18/2006 2:38:22 PM
I got an email back and he wants to interview me tomorrow. I was like...wanna meet at your airport or mine?
