in times of high use.If i'm downloading something and go to an image-intensive page at the same time, it'll die.I then have to either manually reset the router or wait around for 10-60 minutes for it to start working again.it is a netgear wgr614 i believeis there any way to prevent this from happening?

check for other 2.4ghz electronics (ie. cordless phones) because they may be interfering with the router...as cordless phones generally have more channel selection, move it to something above 11...also, are there any other wireless networks that you can detect, and if so, are they are the same channel?

try to upgrade the firmware. i had to upgrade my netgear router's because bittorrent kept causing it to overload and would need a reset.
