The motorcycle thing is different, but if you can find a way to put the delivery bags on it and not be limited to 2-3 deliveries then I'm sure I can look into it. I just dont want you getting stuck with 6-7 deliveries at time and not being able to take them all in one trip.

BTW you cant have a DUI or more than 3 points on your license.

what's the pay and what are my odds of getting shot

I usualy start my drivers at 5.25 an hour. They get 1.00$ per delivery order they take and they get to keep all of their tips. They do have to tip out the cook 1.00$ for every 20$ they make a night in tips. That only means 3 to 5 dollars a night tip out which I consider fair for the cooks. If you cant give a coworker 4.00$ out of your 80.00$ then I do not want you here. We do not deliver to the "ghetto" the farthest we go downtown is Shaw University but they have to meet us at the gate b/c they are a bit ghetto and not one of them tips. They will be gone for the summer anyway. Most orders are taken to the aventferry/gorman area or jones franklin sector and of course Hillsb. st. and Wade ave sectors. These tend to be low crime and I have not seen a problem with robberies or muggings from the first day that the doors opened. We do have protocol to prevent problems so I wouldnt worry about that. As far as the pay goes there will be a per run increase to compensate for inflated gas prices if they continue to go up. Post with further questions if needed.

With my truck, I'd make -$23 an hour.Count me in!
5/8/2006 2:38:30 PM
as long as we can listen to that huey lewis
5/8/2006 2:38:49 PM
Joking or not you will probably only avg. 14-20 dollars an hour. That is not Net pay however because you mght use 10 dollars in gas on a 6-8 hour shift depending on the size of your vehicle. Thats not to say I havent seen ppl avg 25 its just an outlier from the avg.
