soo how'd everyone do

My grade is still not up for some weird reason (not even under past semester grades)
but some other people I know have gotten their grades back

C+ from a CHE major with like a 3.5+ gpa
C from BLS major
D from BLS major
F from Animal Science major
F from BLS major

his grade distribution has got to be total shit this semester...ive never known this many people to do so horribly, esp from what we all heard about bumgardner

his tests and esp the final seemed to be a little more difficult this semester...i dunno, just venting and worrying about my grade

When I took it with Dr. B (about 3 years ago), we only had two WA in CH 223. I had a D- going into the final, and he let us bring in two cheat sheets front and back. I went to Kinko's and shrunk down the answer key to every exam that semester and the previous year's final, and pasted that onto two sheets of paper. I got a 96 on the final, and with his policy, I got an A in the course. I learned absolutely nothing about organic chemistry, and was never more proud of it

^ is sandberg better at teaching 223 than she is 221? Ive head so many good things about her, so i took her 221 class this semester and the class average was 73 and the median 80. isn't that kinda low for her??

I know what you mean. I think I went to class a whole 10 days that semester (if that) but I got everything I could onto that cheatsheet and VOILA! An A!!!!

Why don't some of you guys stop biting on Bumgardner's balls, and actually study? You lazy a$$es.

who said we didn't study? The whole reason most people did bad was because of the final which was like 40% of our grade. He gave us a pool of problems that "73% of the final would come from". So we spent time going over those problems and old tests and the final was nothing like he said it would be.

I would just like to talk to him because i got a D+, but i never brought my Test 1 and Test 2 in for a re grade had i done that i would have goten a few points back on those tests. with those few points i think it would have bosted my 69 to a 70.

Pack,

That was in a sarcastic tone. Now the issue that I have is that these days, the majority of people never study right, total reliance is on the professor. If you wish to succeed in undergraduate and want to pursue a professional or graduate degree, then you have to change your study habits. That is all what it boils down to.

Peace.

Off topic, I'd have to say 223 was the most enjoyable chemistry class I have taken so far. It was interesting material with a teacher who made it easy to learn (Sandberg).

GG Organic Chemistry II!

all those people, who think CH223 is hard, are gonna be in for a rude awakening in upper-level classes.

i preferred bch 451 over ch221/221

i learn better in applications and concepts, not stick structures and chemical reactions. then again, i have a lot more interest in physiology than i do actual chemistry.

uhh, ch315 has got to be possibly the easiest chemistry class ever. And organic has NOTHING to do with most other chemistry, you can be great at chemistry and suck at organic.
