i appreciate the rolling ball, Ansonian if it doesn't get to $30, then there's no way i'm selling it (i can always use an extra 1gb card, but i just figured i'd see what i could get for this one)

just bought a Transcend 1gb for $17 after rebate online. i'm sure lexar is a great brand but isn't $30 a bit much for used?
5/2/2006 3:48:58 PM
i'll give u 20 for it
5/2/2006 3:59:56 PM
^^ lexar is a name brand (though not top of the line by any means), and i haven't seen any that cheap without rebates/shipping/taxes...i think that $30 for a barely-used (i've taken about 250 pictures on it) card without rebates/shipping/waiting isn't too badof course i'm not going to think i'm asking too much ...but as i said, i'll just keep it around if i can't get $30 for it...if i take pictures in RAW or TIFF format like i'm planning, an extra gig card could come in handy if i fill up the first one
5/2/2006 4:49:36 PM
$25 final offer
5/2/2006 5:00:53 PM
i appreciate it, but less than $30 isn't worth it to meHOWEVER, i have eaten my words before (and/or become desperate for cash), so if i end up really needing the money, i'll pm you (no sarcasm)
5/2/2006 5:14:10 PM
What speed is it?
5/2/2006 5:18:38 PM
i doubt u get 30 for it. You can buy a brand new Toshiba 1 gig card for about 35 at walmart
5/2/2006 5:23:17 PM
^^ i'll have to check on the speed (it's not the pro line, so...)^ $38 plus ~$3 taxes = $41...so you could drive to walmart and get it, or save yourself $11 and pick it up at wolf village tonight
5/2/2006 5:28:13 PM
card speed is 16x
5/2/2006 9:03:50 PM
it's definitely not worth it for a 16x.
5/2/2006 10:21:37 PM
oh...well, like i said, i haven't seen any locally for $30 (and the example of the one at walmart is only a 1x), so if you can show me a decent (ie. brand-name) rebate/tax/s&h-free 16x 1gb sd card for less than $30, then i would be more than willing to ask for lessotherwise, your assertion that it's not worth $30 is completely subjective, and, by and large, an ignorant statement (though i agree that something is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it)
5/2/2006 11:09:04 PM
what you say is true, locally you won't be able to find it for less, though the speed is kinda slow. that being said my $27 - $10 rebate 80x 1gb is coming today tax/shipping free (ordered it on monday) !

5/3/2006 12:11:27 PM
I just bought a 133x 2 gig card for 100 bucks the other day.If it wasn't 16x I'd buy it.
5/3/2006 12:25:13 PM
i was gonna jump on one from Corsair for $60 but i just didn't need that much right now
5/3/2006 12:29:39 PM
