good, he's fucking horrible. Most overrated announcer ever. Everyone just gets on his nuts because they are supposed to because he's called a "legend"[Edited on April 27, 2006 at 10:11 AM. Reason : f]

will he actually stay retired this time, or will he come back in another year, but this time only to announce games for a shittier, even further west conference?also, as stated above, he does SUCK[Edited on April 27, 2006 at 10:11 AM. Reason : ^]

I remember cracking up during the Rose Bowl at some of the comments he was making. "No time ran off the clock on that play." His co-announcer "That would be right, it was a 2-point conversion."

i actually enjoy his voice...but I loathe his delivery and his insight
4/27/2006 10:14:53 AM
^ and his Big Ten / West Coast bias
4/27/2006 10:17:40 AM
WHOOOOOOOAAAAAA DOCTOR
4/27/2006 11:03:32 AM
Not really a Big Ten bias since he and Fouts were fellating the entire Miami team against OSU in the Fiesta Bowl.
4/27/2006 11:06:00 AM
i would make the argument that the way games in all sports are called changes over time, and he became a relic of sorts in his later days that some (mostly older) people could appreciate, while others couldn'tabc, or fox, or whoever has the BCS now, needed this change
4/27/2006 11:44:33 AM
^^ fuck yes he has a Big Ten bias... he thinks Michigan and Ohio State rule the fucking universe
4/27/2006 1:43:43 PM
I have the DVD of that Fiesta Bowl... again, he was slobbing all over Coker's knob
4/27/2006 2:08:27 PM
maybe that one particular game... but he acts like the Big Ten and Pac-10 are THE top college football areas of the country
4/27/2006 2:19:33 PM
OH GREATMORE GATORADE COMMERCIALS
4/27/2006 2:31:42 PM
lets all be adults, the Big Ten is the best college football conference overall. Not record-wise every year, but for a fan base. The only other one thats up there is the SEC. But when you have 3 of the 5 largest stadiums in the same conference, along with rabid fanbases... its the best.
4/27/2006 2:37:49 PM
^ um, no. Not at all. Easily the SEC. Easily, not even a contest. Football IS the SEC. Basketball is nice, but football dominates the discussion all year round.
4/27/2006 2:43:20 PM
WHOAAAAAA NELLY LET ME TELL YA BOUT KEITH JACKSON!
4/27/2006 2:54:31 PM
^^ditto for the big 10.
4/27/2006 3:06:02 PM
no, in the big ten there are tons of schools content to be basketball schools first (Michigan State, Illinois, Indiana). In the SEC, everyone is football, even kentuck is but they are just so bad at it and so good at football that they hide behind bball
4/27/2006 3:07:45 PM
Maybe he'll coach our basketball team?!
