what a load of bullshittwo years in a fucking rowgive it to the black mamba
4/26/2006 10:47:06 PM
I'm fine with Nash winning, but I would accept arguments for LeBron and Kobe. This shit about Billups pisses me off. The Pistons are the best example of all 5 starters being nearly equal with their roles on the team, where as Nash, Kobe, and LeBron are all CLEARLY the leaders of those teams.
4/26/2006 10:49:28 PM
typically, the MVP isnt the kind of player who sits himself while getting blown out by the best team in the Conference b/c of a bogus injury.Lebron is a [no]
4/26/2006 10:51:27 PM
Not to sound too much like every NBA analyst ever, but Nash makes everyone on the floor with him better at basketball.
4/26/2006 10:55:23 PM
Its 'cause he's white.
4/26/2006 10:59:02 PM
Nash and Kobe are going at it right now (figuratively and literally...they were actually bitching at each other and had to be separated a few minutes ago). Everyone should watch this game on TNT. I have a feeling both of these guys are going to off tonight.
4/26/2006 11:01:20 PM
Screw nashgive it to kobe faggots
4/26/2006 11:06:54 PM
screw kobe.give it to nash faggots
4/26/2006 11:11:07 PM
as much as i hate kobe, he is the lakers. everyone else blows. 2/3 of their wins are because he was playing. thats mvp quality play in my opinion
4/26/2006 11:12:02 PM
The Suns would suck ass without Nash too. So your rule applies to him also.
4/26/2006 11:17:07 PM
i think nash deserves itbut at the same time, i think he again profited from split voting for two other strong candidates. i think alot of people wanted kobe or lebron as the first two and 3rd for nash but split 1rst votes for those two werent enough to beat the 1rst places for nash.plus if he did win, he made me $30

Shawn Marion was 10x more valuable to that team this year than Nash. Besides being the only person on that team that played any thing resembling defense, he was their most consistent scoring threat. You don't have to look any further than last night to see that even with Nash playing his best, that team sucks balls when Marion is slumping. I like Steve Nash, but this is a load of bullshit, give it to Kobe.
4/27/2006 10:15:46 AM
right... b/c averaging nearly 11 assists a game doesn't make a team better.
4/27/2006 10:17:00 AM
^^I would say that they almost won the game with Marion sucking balls is why Nash is MVP worthy. Every single one of the Laker's were hitting their shot all night long and Nash was the only one doing shit for the suns. How often does a 6' white point guard carry a basketball team??Nash would have had 20 assists last night if motherfuckers could hit open shots (MARION).

4/27/2006 10:28:57 AM
"ahhhh....fuck."
4/27/2006 10:32:53 AM
4/27/2006 10:58:31 AM
They got it wrong this year... im sorry i know its amazing what he did with a whole new team and no Amare and shooting a better percentage than last year... well i guess i just talked myself out of my first comment
4/27/2006 11:02:41 AM
if you trade kobe and nash are the suns even better?i say they are; at least the sameif you trade kobe and nash are the lakers better?not a chanceKobe pretty much put the Lakers in the playoffs by himself; that team had no business making the postseason. Kobe deserved it this year in my opinion but Nash is not a bad choice by any stretch
4/27/2006 11:04:57 AM
It's called most valuable player, not most valuable teammate. The award should go to Kobe.
4/27/2006 11:06:09 AM
you guys act like kobe didnt run off any decent teammates he ever had
4/27/2006 11:07:06 AM
what Kobe did this year was amazing... he would have gotten my vote
4/27/2006 11:10:04 AM
kobe wants this, he wants to singlehandedly do it, but hel never win another championship like that.
4/27/2006 11:12:06 AM
He's been playing more teamball thus far in the playoffs.
4/27/2006 11:12:49 AM
really lebron has the worst supporting cast of any of them
4/27/2006 11:13:24 AM
Cavs: Snow, Ilgauskus(sp?), Hughes, and GoodenLakers: Kwame, Odom, Devin George, Luke Walton, and Smush^i'd take LeBron's before Kobe's
4/27/2006 11:15:50 AM
4/27/2006 12:01:13 PM
wow my theory was way off, nash got more 1rst place votes than the next 3 combinedand kobe didnt even make the top 3
