4/26/2006 3:33:38 AM
^you should have sat on his leg
4/26/2006 3:34:29 AM
He's big pimpin' now, buying an oil warmer and whatnot.I still think he sucks. But we needed him.
4/26/2006 3:37:35 AM
GET READY FOR THE BEN MCCAULEY EXPERIENCE
4/26/2006 3:38:49 AM

is Yahoo a legit source?seriously though, I don't blame him. If any man's family needed the money, Ced's does. I hope he goes high up there and this doesn't prove to be a flop of a decision. And I hope he's sick-nasty in the paint...where he SHOULD be.

Not to be a downer but we have literally ZERO chance to make the tourney next year.. oh well.[Edited on April 26, 2006 at 8:47 AM. Reason : and this has NOTHING to do w/ Herb so don't go there.]
4/26/2006 8:47:25 AM

4/26/2006 8:48:23 AM

4/26/2006 9:22:59 AM
Best of luck.
4/26/2006 9:33:17 AM
There's nothing in that article about Simmons that's less than a week old[Edited on April 26, 2006 at 9:44 AM. Reason : asf]
4/26/2006 9:44:44 AM
let's hope ben can step up next year in Ced's absencei think ben had a better freshman year than Ced and didnt make as many stupid mistakesand with Costner fully healthy i think'll we'll be fine without Cedunfortunaly our bench will be totally depleted of big man unless brackman decides to play next year
4/26/2006 9:50:09 AM
thats what i am sayingWHY MAKE A NEW THREAD WHEN THE CED SIMMONS DECLARES FOR DRAFT THREAD IS PAGEEEEEES LONGCREDE, YOU FUCKING KNOW BETTER
4/26/2006 10:09:10 AM
^^ you realize that Costner's game is mainly as a perimeter shooter who can get on the post when needed, right? ben mccauley will be a starting ACC center and god save our souls
4/26/2006 10:44:22 AM
yup. I can see that next season is gonna require lots and lots of vodka for each game.
4/26/2006 10:49:51 AM

He still has at least a month to renig, and, I really think he is going to once it sets in that he is a risky first round selection. He wont be a first round lock. The first round is primarily for proven scorers (which he isn't...yet), excellent passers (which he isn't) or enormous size (which he does not really have).I hate hatin on an NC State player, but I feel that he needs a season to improve on his scoring before he gets drafted high.
4/30/2006 9:33:05 PM
He may get drafted really high because this draft is going to be so soft inside.
4/30/2006 9:34:03 PM
Yeah, and teams usually employ that "can't teach size" mentality when it comes to drafting big guys over guardsThat's like the class of '89 (I think) when Tim Hardaway slipped to 14 - Pervis Ellison, George McCloud, Stacey King, JR Reid, Randy White, Tom Hammonds, and Michael Smith all went before him, and Hardaway had a better career than all of them(Chucky Smith went in the 2nd rd this year)
4/30/2006 10:21:39 PM
who the fuck is Chucky Smith?
5/1/2006 3:41:05 AM
5/1/2006 2:31:45 PM
That article was anything but "definate"In fact, the article was ABOUT schools not knowing whether these kids were gone or not.
5/1/2006 2:37:40 PM
^^ played ball at NC State, looked it up an figured I'd throw that inhe more than likely had an insignificant nba career
5/1/2006 2:38:15 PM
Is chucky smith the homegrown guy that always plays in the Chavis leagues?
5/1/2006 2:54:25 PM
Holy shit.I hope you mean Chucky Brown! He played in the NBA for about 10 years. He attends half of our games and still lives in the area.
5/1/2006 3:15:07 PM
haha i figured you meant Chucky Brown. He was on those Rockets championship teams
5/1/2006 3:55:44 PM
Anyone else notice that Ced was at the presser for Sid? Could this mean he is having second thoughts?
5/6/2006 10:22:11 PM
God I hope so.PLEASE CED!
