his tv ads on his site are recycled from 04 when he ran in NC-5

his radio ad is brand new

and it cant be that old because he only decided to switch from nc-12 to nc-13 a few weeks (less than a month) ago,

im just wondering if its getting airtime on 680

We have reached a new low.

I'm guessing he assumes that all immigrants come from Mexico, and as such, all Mexicans are from the region where the Mexican hat dance is popular.

They might as well play Central American songs and bring over some Andean tunes.

Oh, and let's not forget we do have illegal immigrants from other parts of the world.

The majority of illegal immigrants though (and the ones that people hate) are the ones that come across from Mexico. The other illegal immigrants are mostly irrelevant to those peoples' arguments on the issue.

I remember those commercials from a couple of years ago every day on cable. The Twilight Zone commercial I also believe is new this year, and was shown a couple weeks ago on Countdown w/Keith Olbermann. However, since he has changed districts, I dono't get a chance to see those new commercials, if they are new. He is now running in the 13th district, instead of against Virginia Foxx again (in the 5th), as well as Mel Watt (in the 12th), though he doesn't have any ties (living, working, etc.) in the district. He also couldn't even win re-election to city council in Winston Salem in the past year.

nope! the twighlight zone commercial is from his nc-5 primary

he never intended to run against foxx for 06. his race against foxx was in the primary runoff of 04

he decided at first to challenge mel watt because he lives right near the northern portion of nc 12

however being the opportunist he is, he decided to take on miller because he thinks miller is a more winable district, (little to no name id, not significant fundraising for a candidate, and a mostly white district who he can push a race button with. entirely different demographic than nc-12.

he will get crushed, as most of teh voters there are conservative democrats anyways, and would never vote a black guy in, no matter how much he hates mexicans...neither will northeastern wake county (the other half of the district)

^^^Ok, I didn't remember if the Twilight Zone one was new. I did know he wasn't planning on running against Foxx, but I didn't realize he would run in the 13th. I don't think he'll win, but not b/c he's black. This guy is just ridiculous.

So what would he actually work towards if he got elected?

It doesn't seem to me that deportation is feasible. I think if we did something like that it would be on the same level as putting Japanese Americans into camps during World World II.

Border Militarization may make the situation worse and strain relations between Mexico and United States. This may lead to more left-leaning politicians (like we are seeing in Chile, Peru, Bolivia and Venezuela right now).

You aren't going to be able to kick them out. You might as well make them citizens and hold up some level of American dignity.
