Guys, my new job just upgraded me to a brand new company laptop, so I’m looking to get rid of my Dell 640M I’ve had for approximately a year’s time. It’s a solid machine across the board. The Hard Drive inside is a new drive from Dell Direct (upgrade from 15gig to 30) and it’s probably 3 months old so no worries about hard drive failures at all. The machine runs rock solid, no problems, no damage inside or out. Dell 640M P4-M512mb ramATI Mobility 7500 video card30 gig new HDDCD R/RW , DVD playerI just wiped the OS clean and it is freshly defragged, networking is setup – will synch up if you have a router immediately, OS is XP Home Edition including some bonsues: • Full MS Office Suite Professional 2003 installed on PC• Throwing a Linksys Wireless 802.11b slot card in • Extra Battery (2 ½ hours) making 2 total batteries.• Deluxe [Leather!] Dell Laptop Case, definite upgrade from Vinyl.I live right near campus across from the Cantina so you can pick it up whenever. Highest bidder takes it.

It's legit, and under a legit COA with a valid XP Pro key. The office suite 2003 was installed from my brother's copy who works at Redhat. It's legit but it's his copy, and in that, doesn't require a security key for installation. See below..

Bidding will end on this by 3pm tomorrow by the way. No rush here, but no sense in dragging it out for the highest bidder that does want it right away. Thanks, also, if you have any other questions let me know.

you can buy brand new dell laptops for $499 right now that are nicer than than this onehttp://slickdeals.net/#p7404why would pay $420 for a old used one

thanks for trolling my thread asshole...if you aren't intersted, get the fuck out. 1. The stats are very similar on that laptop..2. Vid Card is much worse on that one, mine has a ATI Mobility 7500 that's an intel integrated shit.3. Proc speed on that one is less.4. It takes weeks to build, kit, and send. 5. thats 500$ before tax price which adds another 50-70$6. Thats XP Home, This one has XP Professional.7. This one comes with extra battery.8. This one comes with a case, a leather one at that.9. MS Office 2003 Pro Edition pre-installed
4/24/2006 3:18:09 PM
whoopty doo its still used i'd rather have a new one myself
4/24/2006 5:54:54 PM
what I'm saying though is...why do you take the time to come into this ad and just fuck with it, just to prove a point on your opinion. That laptop you posted had specs that were worse than mine, not to mention all the extra stuff and it still cost up to 170$ more all the things considered. It's just a fucking low class rat act, you have no intention of doing anything but sabotage. But it isn't going to work, especially if you guage my inbox reaction. mission not accomplished.
4/24/2006 7:21:20 PM
425 cash
4/24/2006 7:29:56 PM
It's worth $500 easily, even with the illegal Office 2003 installation on it.
4/24/2006 10:04:08 PM
it's not illegal. It's just my brother's copy. Big difference, big, big difference.
4/24/2006 11:05:57 PM

No but you see you don't understand. It's not a better deal...just some asswipe's attempt at sabotaging the sale. Which was met with a HUGE response despite the feeble attempt. He tried to posterboard another deal but this auction wasn't out of the realm of reason. I never set the price, the people's demand will set the price. When someone trounces on a classified thread, it's clearly trying to say 'this isn't a good deal, come buy this' when in in fact, subject wise, it has nothing to do with my sale. They are totally different laptop packages. If they were the same item, that would be one thing. But they aren't.....so what he did has nothing to do with capitalism. It's just flaming, don't make it out like it's some bullshit Consumer Reports benefacting effort on his part.
