Interesting article in SI.com... http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/multimedia/photo_gallery/2006/04/20/gallery.nfldraftbusts/index.1.exclude.html?cnn=yesRyan Leaf should be higher, there's no way Joey Harrington should be considered worse than Leaf....Number One is....THE BOZ
4/22/2006 4:37:21 PM
That dude from NC State - washburn
4/22/2006 4:40:56 PM
Surprised Biakabatuka wasn't on that list
4/22/2006 4:52:31 PM
Biaka wasnt that bad when he was healthy
4/22/2006 4:53:37 PM
leaf #19 wtf
4/22/2006 5:08:17 PM
harrington way too high
4/22/2006 5:57:09 PM
i dont think these are in order
4/22/2006 6:59:02 PM
as much as I adore him, Julius better get traded if he wants to stay off that list
4/22/2006 7:22:43 PM
It's not like people passed up on awesome players to get julius
4/22/2006 8:09:57 PM
julius wasnt hyped like the other guys until he had two good seasonsthat list is stupid for not putting leaf in the top 3
4/22/2006 8:52:34 PM
4/22/2006 9:20:58 PM
4/22/2006 9:23:06 PM
4 dotsi can go on if you need me tohell, i went to espn.com to compare Julius' stats compared to other rookies, but you need to play in 35 games to be included in those sortable lists.
4/22/2006 9:25:28 PM
im sure this has been noted, but he got drafted by an organization that has no fucking clue what it is doing
4/22/2006 9:47:03 PM
Yeah, but that's not really a huge bust. There's not really that much difference in late first rounders and second rounders, anyway
4/22/2006 9:47:39 PM
and that's why I said he better get traded from a guard-heavy team...and away from a coach who doesn't like him...and away from a city where he gets shot
4/22/2006 9:50:33 PM
if i was an nba team that had a late round pick, I'd just trade that shit for a 1st next year and hope the dumbass team that actually wants it sucks. Id then go sign a D-League player. It'd be the exact same impact, and then Id have 2 draft picks the next year that i could package for a higher one that could MAYBE make a difference
4/22/2006 9:50:37 PM
^sounds like a plan!
4/22/2006 9:52:28 PM
fucki was thinking the same damn thingno shit

4/23/2006 12:08:11 AM

4/23/2006 12:08:56 AM

Alexandre Daigle.
4/23/2006 12:28:02 AM
The Tarheel foursome has been at least as big a bust thus far as Hodge, as they have done nothing and were picked earlier.
4/23/2006 12:34:40 AM
^ look at ray felton's stats
4/23/2006 1:03:55 AM
"Stone Cold" is proof enough that Bosworth doesnt belong on that list.
4/23/2006 1:05:54 AM
Josh Hamilton is probably selling drugs somewhere now.#1 baseball pick and shit to show for it.
4/23/2006 1:16:17 AM

4/23/2006 1:18:37 AM
At least Tanabe is in the show. You wanna talk Canes busts, let's talk Igor Knyazev (D, 15th overall 2001, 0 NHL GP) and Nikos Tselios (D, 22nd overall 1997...2 NHL GP, 0-0-0, 6 PIM), and Jeff Heerema (RW, 11th overall 1998, 32 NHL GP, 4-2-6, 6 PIM).

the entire 1999 NHL draft besides the sedin twins
4/23/2006 1:55:47 AM
^ and Jackman/Havlat, but that's it.
4/23/2006 2:01:19 AM
^^^How does May get a pass for his injury but Hodge doesn't get a pass for multiple injuries and depth?da Jules needs to get more done, but I'm just saying it's too early to call anyone a bust here. That's like people that called Rivers a bust his rookie year when Brees started and went to the Pro Bowl.[Edited on April 23, 2006 at 2:12 AM. Reason : .]
4/23/2006 2:12:01 AM
there only gets to be one QB on the field during the 16 games that team playsthere are 2 or 3 guards/combos on the court at all times during the 82 games that team playsapples/oranges
4/23/2006 2:14:04 AM
4/23/2006 2:24:44 AM
Tim Couch?
4/23/2006 3:00:02 AM
Baseball always has some good ones, even among #1 picks (some mentioned before)Brien TaylorBen McDonaldJosh HamiltonThe Mets are good at flops too, while there was Strawberry, there was also:Steve ChilcottPaul WilsonShawn AbnerTim FoliAs for football, Tony Mandarich is the biggest bust to me. That 1989 draft was, possibly, the best of our lifetime's so far. How many SB's could the Pack had with Barry Sanders, or Derrick Thomas playing next to Reggie White?[Edited on April 23, 2006 at 8:58 AM. Reason : football]
4/23/2006 8:53:54 AM

4/23/2006 9:30:37 AM
^^ he will come around with the Lakers and Phil.Jordan rode his ass so hard in Washington that it shot his confidence. I don't think he will be a star, but he will be solid.
4/23/2006 11:03:06 AM
