Yes I got beat that night the car was running a second and half slow and lost 20mph of trap that night. I got beat by a professionally built civic(that has 30k dumped into it) that is owned by someone who races IHRA. We couldnt figure out what was wrong with the car. I found 4 big ass boost leaks since then. Hell I still cut a 11.5 against him that night. I never raced the turbo m3, it was my roomates car. Me and the civic are scheduling a rematch because he redlighted and my car was running on half power. Congrats on knowing nothing about the story, other than the outcome.

PS I saw your boy with the vr4 last night, why didnt he want any? They ever get the car out of that ditch?

I mean, its cool that you have something you are in to, but I'd be a little pissed and perturbed if I only had it in the 11s, regardless the reason. You know nothing about making a car fast. When you just finish a setup there is going to be problems, you are a damn idiot. We are slowly working the bugs out. Fast cars tend to have a few bugs in them, unlike a turbo Civic or M3 making a blazing 300whp or less.

Look man, the car ran fine before. We tested the car the week before and it was running strong. Unfortunately we decided to add some shit a cpl days before that caused the turbo to spike boost. when that happend on the first pass of the night we blew some vacuum lines we couldnt find at the track. Even Titan, and pro drag racers have problems a the track. thats what makes drag racing fun.

The civic was running 10.50's. Its not like I was racing a stock civic ex. My car was running faster than that on boost alone, but we got greedy and went for more. It back fired what can I say. That night was suppose to be our testing but he showed up and called us out there. We knew the car was having issues, but instead of putting the car back on the trailer I went ahead and lined up instead of being a bitch. I was standing in the circle with my pops and uncle and Bill Kuhlman outside the gates of Darlington when he basically said "My truck might look like shit, my trailer might look like shit, my car might even look like shit...but what lies under the hood is high dollar stuff. I was there on a Thursday night as we tested delay boxes when they first arrived on the bracket racing scene. I was in the 6's in the 1/8th and 9s in the quarter at 15. I won $3000 in my third official race ever. I smoked and squealed the tires at 100+ mph in the lights when I had my head cranked back looking for the guy running me down (bracket racing) and turned around and saw I was about to wipe the lights out.

You want to talk about parts breaking? I helped lay fiberglass at that same Darlington race when for some odd reason the door to our car left and sailed about 50 ft in the air at the end of a run. Just last weekend I was hoping to enjoy some racing and got roped into swapping out a water pump that finally gave up after being in the car for 7 years.




You best fucking believe, if my family were loaded, to the point the silver spoon was shoved so far down my throat that I could piss in it on the other end, and I didn't have to go to college to better myself and position myself to be able to enter the job market and make real money
