you think flying cars...seems so far fetched...cars that don't use gas that is something that I can see...if you have seen iRobot...that car is in my opinion what we will see in 2020.

I disagree, and not only because you're too stupid to spell "vaccine". Aids will have a pill that you take once or twice daily, and you take it for the rest of your life. A vaccine isn't going to make anybody rich.

If an aids vaccine is possible, someone will make it when it is discovered. Competition baby, especially if you aren't the company that sells the aids pills you are talking about.

Seriously, why would the houses be any smaller. Not to mention the only way to accomplish this is to demolish the current ones and build small ones in their place. And that's not about to happen.

we're nowhere near running out of room, at least in America

41% of the united states is already used as farmland to feed the citizens living in the other 59%.
source: http://www.ers.usda.gov/StateFacts/US.htm

do you propose that we continue to cut back on every last available space in this country until the nation is one big urban mass?

when you drive down the road and see some trees and bushes hudled together with no supermarkets and parking lots attached to them do you see this as wasted space?

do you not recognize is a difference between "running out of room" how much development is really a good idea?

there really are landscapes in this country that are better left undeveloped even if most people can't recognize any beauty in those places; specifically places like deserts, swamps and other "ugly" environments. aside from the fact that aesthetic appeal is a completely personal experience, lack of certain appeal is not alone reason enough to justify destruction.
