Ebay has the '87s for that range though.
4/21/2006 4:15:28 PM
hmmm...brand new 2006 for $3100 or a 19-year-old bike for more than 50% of the cost...
4/21/2006 5:24:33 PM
500

Rebels tend to hold their value... although I definitely think his price is too high for an '87, according to market standards it really isn't all that unreasonable. Since people usually use Rebels mostly as a learner bike, the miles build slowly, and they don't undergo any real hard riding, so they stay on top of their game for a long time. I doubt this is the best place to sell... Cycletrader or Craigslist would probably be better. Sometimes, when people REALLY want to find a good, well running Rebel, they'll pay more for one. Back when I was looking for one I know I would have atleast considered it... you'd be surprised, but they are somewhat difficult to come across... especially in peak season when people get psyched about learning.

if any of you guys making offers want to come ride it, you may find yourself willing to make a more suitable offer than 500 cause she is in such good condition for her age. She is a MILF of motorcycles.
4/23/2006 1:33:47 PM

4/23/2006 6:44:59 PM

I am a total motorcycle n00b, is this an ok starter bike for a tall guy, like 6'2"?
4/24/2006 2:58:56 PM
^probs if ur not a speed demon
4/24/2006 3:01:54 PM
^^ Yeah its the perfect starter bike - it was my first bike and i taught my room mates how to drive it as well - they are all first timers. As of the height - i am 6'0" and i think it is one of the most comfortable bikes i have ridden, a couple people just over 6 foot rode it and didn't complain.just give me a call if you want to sit on it or learn how to drive it.
4/24/2006 4:40:03 PM
it has an NCSU parking decal that is good through the summer and obviously it gets incredible gas mileage - nothing like dropping $3.87 at the gas statioin to last you 2 weeks.
4/25/2006 5:15:29 PM
this bike is normally parked by the tunnel right? Thats a nice lookin bike, epecially for how old it is.
4/25/2006 5:31:29 PM

4/26/2006 10:37:41 PM

4/27/2006 12:13:32 PM

4/27/2006 6:40:41 PM
How about 1050?
4/28/2006 4:16:52 AM
ncsukat, if you don't mind, whats your age? I'm 20/3pts also, but male. That quote was from Geico. I had one from progressive for 311, and I'm gonna call statefarm this aft.
4/28/2006 8:31:23 AM
^^ how about 1200?
4/28/2006 10:00:28 AM
if it's listed as a second vehicle, the insurance costs are probably lower?
