they're trying to charge me $8 for 500 txt messages a month and $10 for 6pm unlimited nights.this is lame.

Sprint has good service if you never are further than 300 feet from a tower. The rest of the civilized world doesnt like getting charged 37 cents a minute for roaming in the "non digital nationwide network".Get Alltel if you are gonna be in NC. If I can get 5 bars on an island 27 miles out to sea (Ocracoke) this is probably a pretty good plan.
